a normal was for me consist of hosing the car down first then wash with w/e product i have at hand (been using meguiars nxt generation) then dry the car off and wash it again. then apply wax(i use turtle wax ice which doesn't last as long). every other month or so, i clay bar in between the first and second washes.

*wash in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the sun
1. Wash with Meguiars gold class (2 bucket method) *Back and fourth motion only...never circular 2. Clay w/ Mothers bar 3. Re-Wash (2 bucket method) 4. Polish prep with Klasse AIO 5. Seal with Klasse SG *Btw my car is NHBP |

yeah it is and its funny when i watch other people wash their cars. i cant help but give them hints and tell them whats better.
when you wash the soap off with a pressure washer, do you spray up to down or down to up?! |

This is what I did a couple weekends ago, car was looking great afterwards and only took about 4 hours.
wash car with dish detergent (removes old wax) clay bar while its still wet wash car again with car soap polisher wax |
